Increased facilities for young people who choose vocational education as a safe alternative for integration into the labor market

Vocational education and the attraction of young people to choose it as a safe alternative path for them to integrate into the labor market continues to be one of the government’s objectives in the field of education. One of the steps taken in this direction is that during the month of December, students in the first years of high school will be able to easily transfer to vocational schools through e-Albania.

Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the meeting organized with the directors of vocational schools, regional directors of the pre-university system and directors of education offices, which is held after the meetings with high schools, vocational high schools, companies, parents and students within the promotion of vocational education.

“It is very clear that the reasons why vocational education still does not receive the appropriate level of attention from parents and students are more than one, but on the other hand, it is equally clear that at this stage of the country’s development, we must make a joint effort to overcome the obstacles that arise or have arisen along the way for various reasons.

I do not want to go into the reasons why the situation in terms of vocational education is not what is desired for the needs of the country today, but it is important to understand that today we have the opportunity to address this situation more aggressively because we have invested reasonably. We definitely need and will do more, but currently, while encouraging and pushing students to integrate into the education system in significant numbers professionally, we do it without worrying that they will go to school where they will not be able to get the necessary education because of the conditions.

The conditions have improved considerably.

This is about finding the best for a significant number of children and giving them a chance in life, giving them a trade and opening up a perspective, but at the same time, it also means directly helping the businesses of this area in the first place and the whole country in the second place” said Prime Minister Rama.
